The Wool Factory António F. Camello & CA, Ltd. was founded in 1858, is located in Vale do Regato and is the heir of the first plants built between 1850 and 1855, by Manuel Camello and Ana de Gouveia, grandparents of António Fernandes Camello. This company is based on a family structure and dedicated to quality products in the textile sector.
Not knowing the original name of the factory, it is known that in 1858 was designated by Manuel Francisco Camello, CA., and around 1907, under the   patronage of António Fernandes Camello (son of Manuel Francisco Camello), shall be called by António F. Camello, CA. In 1930,  assumes the name of António F. Camello & CA, Ltd., a name which remains today.
